Product Description
Kamikaze KM2981 is a curved saw with a 330mm blade, it is equipped with a protective plastic sheath that ease its transport during use and its storage when not in use. The curved shape of the blade guarantees a better grip on the trunk, high comfort and the reduction of vibrations. The plastic handle covered with non-slip rubber is ideal for the hand even without the use of gloves. The rubber allows also to distribute the pressure between the fingers. The special design of the handle, with its curved shape, reduces the effort required for cutting.
The blades of the Kamikaze KM2981 are sharpened using an innovative system called Hollow ground (roll sharpening) which reduces the thickness of the back of the blade to minimise the friction with the wood. This particular sharpening system can be seen in the longitudinal section of the blade.
The teeth are sharpened by a computer-controlled disc, which allows to obtain a perfect symmetry through the blade, which ensures a constant cutting action. Each tooth is tempered through an innovative system: hardness 900HV-950HV (HRC 67/68 degrees).
The use of this particular technology makes the Kamikaze KM2981 resistant up to 3 times more than a conventional one. The shape and the position of the teeth prevent the blade from getting dirty while cutting.
The chromed blades prevent from oxidation and avoid the accumulation of sap, thus always ensuring a smooth, fast cut with minimum effort. The blades of Kamikaze saws are made of SK-4 steel and carbon, which increase their elasticity and strength.
